Paulo Nzambi, senior vice president and
COO of Manchester Bidwell Corporation, has been as announced as the
speaker for Bethany College’s Martin Luther King, Jr., Day
Celebration on Monday, January 21, 2013.
Sponsored by the Office of Student Life, Nzambi will speak at 7
p.m. in the Agostino Room of Benedum Commons in honor of Martin Luther
King, Jr., and his incredible life’s work.
All day, there will be passive programming within the residence
halls, titled “Honor the Man, Live the Dream.” From 11 a.m. to
2 p.m. there will be service projects in the Ogden Dining Room which
include decorating and creating flower pots and door decorations for
assisted living homes, cards of appreciation for the troops, posters and
cards for children in the hospital and pillow cases and care packages for
women’s shelters.
In addition, starting at 11:30 a.m., there will be inauguration
coverage on the televisions in the Ogden Dining Room.
