Brian Green ’80 on Dec. 28 was appointed as a judge to the district
court of Carroll County in Maryland by Governor Martin O’Malley.
For the past 23 years, he has served as an attorney there
with the Office of the Public Defender. Green also has significant
teaching experience. He is an adjunct professor for the criminal
practice clinic at the University of Baltimore School of Law, and has
worked for the Shemer Bar Review since 1999. Green began his legal
career as an assistant state’s attorney in Baltimore City. He graduated
from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in
1987 and from Bethany College in 1980.
