Bethany Places Two on Academic All-District II Volleyball Team

For the second consecutive year, the Bethany College volleyball team had multiple players earn spots on the Capital One Academic All-District II team, as seniors Jessica Zavatchen (Uniontown, Pa./Laurel Highlands) and Taylor Cassidy (Barboursville, W.Va./Cabell Midland) were recognized for their athletic and academic achievements.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.30 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at their current institution and be nominated by their sports information director. All Division III institutions in Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Rhode Island and West Virginia make up District II.
