There will be a video presentation on the Amazon at 7 p.m. on Oct. 4 in Kirkpatrick, room 105. John T. Burns,
professor of biology, will present a video presentation on the three
trips that he and Bethany College students have taken to Tahuayo Lodge
in the Peruvian Amazon Basin.The presentation is expected to last approximately 45 minutes and there will be time afterwards for questions regarding the video the planned Ecology of the Amazon course – which is set to be offered during the May 2013 term – and other possible research projects, internships and community service opportunities in this unique area. Snacks will also be provided.
