Dr. Joseph B. Lovano, chair
of the department of humanities and professor of world languages and
cultures at Bethany College, received the International Association of
University Presidents’ 2012 International Education Faculty
Achievement Award on Sept. 13 at Fall Convocation.
Dr.
Neal King, president of IAUP, said Dr. Lovano was chosen for the award
“in recognition of his extraordinary commitment to fostering
international understanding and preparation of students to be world
citizens.”
Bethany College President Dr. Scott D. Miller nominated Lovano
