WVU College of Law Director of Admissions Visits
Tina Jernigan, Director of Admissions, of the WVU College of Law, spoke
in Morlan Lounge on Tuesday, February 28. She presented to interested
pre-law students about WVU's programs, the opportunities for
practicing law in West Virginia, the Summer Law Institute at WVU for
undergraduates, and the steps needed for success in the law school

Professor Sable Speaks in Ambridge on Egypt and the Arab Spring
On Sunday, February 26, Dr. Marc Sable of the Department
of History and Political Science gave a presentation at the Beth
Samuel Jewish Center in Ambridge, PA. The talk highlighted the "soft
authoritarianism" of the Mubarak regime, the different strands within
the Islamic movement in Egypt (and within the Muslim Brotherhood), the
continuing role of the military and implications of the Arab Spring for
Israel and for US foreign policy.
