Multilingual Caroling a Tradition in Bethany
One of the many treasures of Bethany is the annual singing of carols. Once again this year, on December 7, Bethany faculty and students from the German and Spanish Clubs delighted the Bethany community with Christmas caroling. This all-student group was led by Harald Menz and Joseph Lovano, professors of world languages and cultures, together with Catherine Papp and Meghan Philp, German and Spanish Club presidents respectively. The group of more than a dozen sang Christmas carols in English, French, German, Italian, Latin and Spanish at several homes in the town of Bethany.

This cultural and community-wide event was led and organized by Italian Club President Alex DelGiorno, together with club member Candace Williams serving as master chef. Authentic homemade Italian style food, drink and music were provided and enjoyed by Bethany College students and faculty members.
